Built ford tuff

Uriah got up early to head out yet again to the ranch to do some more clearing.  Well, about an hour later I got a phone call from him with barely suppressed laughter, he explained that he did something stupid and needed me to come help.  After another minute, he confessed that he was mowing too close to the pond and got the tractor stuck.  This was the scene that greeted me.

Keep in mind this area of Texas is mostly sand and clay.  So it took us a couple of tries but the Ford came to the rescue.

This side of the tractor isn't so bad but wait....

The wet clay and sand mix was caked on heavy.  Thankfully the well got up and running today so we could rinse it off.  But first we needed to knock some of this off.

After we pulled it out of the muck and mire, we noticed one of the tires was flat so I had to let him off the hook, at least partially.

Never thought the first thing we would use the well water for would be cleaning the tractor.  It took Uriah about an hour to get all off.

It isn't much to look at but this is the well and holding tank.
