Painting, Countertops and Tile

We were out of town last week and when we arrived back home it was very cold outside.  Thank goodness the pipes have not frozen, since the heat has yet to be hooked up.

The painters finished the main portion of their painting.  According to our builder, they will be here up till close to do touch-ups.

The Cultured Marble was installed in the two upstairs bathrooms

The countertop installers showed up yesterday and installed our granite and quartz countertops.

 

The driveway was poured while we gone along with the sidewalk and pads for the air conditioner and generator.  However, after coming back from vacation, we noticed that the sidewalk nor the pads were done correctly, so they will be broken up and re-poured.

Also this week the tile installers showed up and started their work.  First with setting the shower bases and waterproofing membrane.  The last few days have been taken up with the Master bath and shower area, since this the most complex and biggest part of the job.  The other areas are the guest s
shower, Kitchen backsplash and upstairs tile floors in the bathrooms.
